Sub-Contract Manufacturing

Sedgewall have long been regarded as specialists in the design and development of electronic sub systems and modules. We have in house capabilities to take a project from the drawing board, through to production, encompassing all manufacturing processes including metalwork, fabrication and testing to ISO 9001, to which Sedgewall have been accredited since 1996.

We have dedicated production, purchasing and engineering teams and experienced personnel at all levels. We also have additional premises which are dedicated entirely to sub-contract work. A large percentage of the work undertaken by Sedgewall is destined for the Emergency, Military Services and UK Government, where quality, reliability and delivery are of critical importance.

Third Party Product Repairs

Along with our manufacturing and assembly services, we also have the expertise to offer a complete repair service on a wide range of electronic units, from single boards to complete modules.

PCB Design

Our design team includes qualified engineeers, using AutoCAD software, enabling us to offer a one stop turnkey solution for your product. Our engineers are able to offer advice to facilitate smoother & more cost effective production as well as ruggedness and reliability built into the design from our years of experience working in the military market.

Cabinets

Our tough, multi-configurable cabinet systems are designed and engineered to protect and unify electronics, communications and data processing equipment in minimum space with maximum security. Sedgewall is a primary contractor for the MOD for military specification cabinets, and therefore can offer quality and durability on both manufacture and assembly of cabinets and their fixtures.

Bespoke Cable Assemblies / Power Looms

Sedgewall are experienced in providing interconnection solutions, cables, looms and harnesses.

We have a wealth of experience in this area of bespoke manufacture including: Data cable assemblies, complex and straight forward looms/cable assemblies, circular connection assemblies, crimp cable assemblies, Cat5 (RJ45) network cables, IPC assemblies, cable harnesses Military specification cable assemblies & bespoke cables.
