Visa/Compact Visa Speakers
Sedgewall produce two main types of speaker, the visa and the compact visa. Both speakers are enclosed in a sturdy molded plastic case with an integral fixing bracket. These speakers are ideal for vehicle use and can also be used as terrestrial speakers in harsh environments. The speakers come in a range of impedances, with different lengths of cable and can be supplied terminated in a connector of your choice, or left unterminated. The Sedgewall range of alarm speakers are designed to provide extremely high sound output. The powerful horn speaker HPA-60 and DS-100 / DH-50 are manufactured according to International Maritime Regulations.
The driver horns are made in fibre glass laminated polyester and provided with stainless steel bracket. HPA-60 is made in Polyamide (PA-6) and aluminium alloy (LM-6), with stainless steel bracket. This unit is resistant to corrosion and weatherproof to IP-67. The Driver units are made of polyester coated aluminium alloy (LM-6). All drivers are weatherproof to IP-67 .
The Sedgewall range of Music Horns represents a unique sound performance. The high sound quality combined with the high sensitivity make these models superb for music reproduction.
The extended frequency range of MH-30 makes it suitable for any kind of music, while the powerful output of the MH-50 (120 dB at I m) will provide coverage over very large areas.
The Music Horns are manufactured in ABS and Polypropylene and fitted with a polyester coated aluminium U bracket. All models are corrosion resistant and weatherproof to IP-55.
There are two standard versions of the waterproof speaker we produce, the only difference being the impedance – 4 or 8 Ohms. These speakers are ideal for use at the rear of fire tenders and where a speaker is required that is open to the elements. These two models are 00H4400 for the 4 Ohm version and 00H4480 for the 8 Ohm version.

The unique Sedgewall Ex-range satisfies your requirements for flameproof loudspeakers. Sedgewall offers a wide variety of heavy duty EEx-Speakers, specially designed for use in
military and civil installations where gases and other explosives make special precautions necessary.
Sedgewall loudspeakers are tested according to Cenelec standards and approved by following labratories: BASEEFA (England), NEMKO (Norway), CEPEL (Brazil), SAA (Australia), FM (USA).
The unique Sedgewall Ex-range satisfies your requirements for flameproof loudspeakers for Zone 2 environments. The zone 2 Ex-loudspeakers are certified by NEMKO in Norway: HP-20 S and HS-15 II N have very high sensitivity and a smooth frequency response.
Modified from existing models to suit marine and
industrial installations, these units are the HS-15 IIN, 15 watt aluminium horn and HP-20 S, a 20 watt plastic horn. Both models are corrosion resistant and weatherproof to IP-67.
