The remote switch panel accommodates up to 9 switches, two multi-function switches, a clear all (reset) and a walk test. It is designed to be used in conjunction with Sedgewall’s Full Feature Relay Pack, but can also be used as a stand alone switch panel.
It provides tactile illuminated switches with a backlight mode when side lights are operational. The unit has a fully regulated power supply and is supplied with a mounting clip enabling installation in to any vehicle.
The switch panel accommodates up to 10 switches and is designed to be used in conjunction with Sedgewall’s Full Feature Relay Pack. It provides positive latching or momentary illuminated switches, as required, with a choice of background colours. The switches can be set up to operate individual functions such as headlamp flash, 360 blues Alley Lights, siren etc. Additionally, the configuration can be set up to include a number of pre-programmed single button keys to operate functions such as: 999, “Arrival at Scene” etc.
Sedgewall’s Relay Pack is a custom designed unit manufactured after close consultation with police and vehicle installation specialists to encompass all possible requirements that an emergency or commercial vehicle will require. It is an enclosure that can contains several, otherwise, separate devices. This enables convenience and ease of control. Its features include a 30A rated switching relays and a facility to operate Runlock (See Below).
Included as standard: Alternating flasher unit and multipattern-flasher unit. Included as an option: battery voltage manager/timer. It can operate as a stand alone, with the Full Feature Switch Panel or Remote Switch Panel.
Run Lock is designed so that a vehicle can be left with the engine running to power radios, lights and other ancillary devices without the battery going flat. If anyone tries to drive the vehicle
without re-inserting the ignition key, the engine will stop.
This allows vehicles to be left running without the worry of an unauthorised person driving off or entering the vehicle.
This is a simple flashing unit suitable for enabling headlamp flash on emergency vehicles.

6 LED Flasher
The 6 LED flasher unit is designed to control 2, 4 or 6 LED lighting units for use with vehicles. The unit can be used on both 12 and 24 volt systems. The unit will drive up to 2.5A (30W at 12V) per output. Also the unit can be used to drive resistive loads or relays (with diode protection) to control larger currents.
Multi-Pattern Flasher
The multipattern flasher unit is fully programmable and can switch between multipattern flash sequence, alternating flash, pulse fast and pulse slow. This unit also has the ability to stop flashing and give continual power if required.
The Battery Voltage Manager/Timer prevents the vehicle’s battery voltage dropping to unacceptable levels that can prevent the restart of the vehicle and/or corruption of Radio Transceiver memory. The unit operates by monitoring the battery voltage.
Sedgewall have designed a 15-Way Fuse Box primarily for vehicular use where a robust design is required. The fuse box uses standard ATO Fuses and has fast installation connectors. It comes with strain relief for cable output and a twin stud connection input.
Fist Microphones
Our TD022000 range of fist & speaker microphones, are made from moulded black plastic with a PTT switch incorporated in the side. We do produce standard versions as listed below, for customised versions call our sales department.
The TD022000 comes with PTT 1m curly cable, unterminated. The TD020100 comes with PTT 1m curly cable, terminated with a 5 Pin Din Plug. The 21300004 is a variation on the standard mic, incorporating a microphone and speaker so one does not need to hear the radio speaker – ideal for noisy environments.
