The Sedgewall Communications Group, established in 1990, are specialists in the design, manufacture and integration of electronic and communication systems, sub-systems and modules. The company has grown into a range of product areas, and is a key supplier to the emergency services, MOD and other government departments, and key telecommunications companies both in the UK and Overseas.

In 2002 Sedgewall acquired Paging specialists KRS. This acquisition has enabled Sedgewall to expand the paging side of the company and has added pager repairs and paging system maintenance to our range of services. We can now offer full system design and specification, installation, and long-term support for most integrated communication solutions. MAL Information Technology joined the Sedgewall Communications Group in April 2006. Supplying the Fire Service market with Call-out Systems (RFCS-2) and alerters, MAL is a niche manufacturer with over 15 years experience of working solely within this demanding sector. Due to their outstanding knowledge of the working practises involved with managing Retained Fire Fighters, MAL has recently launched SIREN which is designed specifically for managing Fire-Fighter availability. 2006 also saw Sedgewall being awarded the Investers in People Standard.

The company has a dedicated production, purchasing and engineering team, consisting of highly experienced personnel. The sub-contract side of the business has grown considerably, and Sedgewall now handles products from concept to completion, all manufactured under the company’s BS EN ISO 9001:2000 certification quality standards.
