The Niros TRX1012
CENELEC has been designed with safety first and foremost.
Ideally suited for
use in an environment of hazardous material (liquid,
gas or powder) it is both Intrinsically Safe and ATEX
approved.
This two-way radio
is housed in a die-cast metal housing providing protection
against vibration and shock and with a distinctive blue
colour it is easily recognisable from mainstream equipment.
It is appreciated
that users who require such high levels of safety are
likely to be wearing protective clothing such as gloves;
hence the large ergonomically sized buttons on the face
of the unit as well as the oversized PTT on the side.
The display consists
of one line of 13 characters and two lines of symbols,
indicating information such as battery level and volume.
