Sedgewall supply a range of desktop Transcoders and Encoders to meet most requirements for small systems. Typically these applications would be Hotels or small office complexes and would normally have a small number of pagers in use (say from 1 to 100). Most of our equipment can be expanded to about 1000 pagers if and when required. Some of our equipment can be wall mounted but this would normally be where pages were only made from a telephone.

A Transcoder is a device where the Keyboard, Encoder and Transmitter are enclosed as one unit. Paging is initiated from the keyboard or a normal telephone. Alarm inputs such as door bells or Fire Alarms can be connected to the Transcoder to create automatic paging. An antenna fits to the side of the unit but may be located on a wall for better coverage.

Our small Encoder range includes some with an internal Transmitter and others that require an external (supplied) Transmitter.

This range complements the Restaurant range of equipment.
