The Battery Voltage Manager/Timer prevents the vehicle's battery voltage dropping to unacceptable levels that can prevent the restart of the vehicle and/or corruption of Radio Transceiver memory. A common cause of low battery voltages occurs when the Radio has been inadvertently left switched on when the vehicle is left unattended. The unit operates by monitoring the battery voltage, if the voltage falls below 10.7V * it cuts off power to the unit it is connected to, thus preventing further draining of the battery. The unit also cuts off power automatically 2 hours after the ignition has been switched off.
Key Points:
* Voltage variable cut off
Prevents flat battery from equipment being left switched on
Prevents corruption of some radio memories caused by a low voltage battery supply
Fully sealed unit
Sedgewall 3 year warranty
