Sedgewall Prize Draw Winner

David Hay, former automotive components engineer from Farnham, came to the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show to investigate job opportunities – and left with rather more than he bargained for.  David, a victim of local government downsizing, was the lucky winner of a prize draw run by show exhibitor Sedgewall, leaving the event the proud owner of a brand new Trax TR1 Mountain bike.

“Apparently David doesn’t normally enter competitions, but this could have persuaded him to change his ways and be his first win of many,”
quipped Simon Green, managing director of niche communication equipment manufacturers Sedgewall.

Sedgewall were first time exhibitors and had a great show, they have even announced that they will return for Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2012.

We had a very busy couple of days in Farnborough and are delighted with the response. To be able to conclude a successful show in such a positive way is very satisfying. I hope winning our prize draw is the start of a change of fortunes for David and we wish him all the best,” added Simon.

Along with winning a new pair of wheels, David also managed to pick up two job leads at the show – so a successful day all round.
