NIROS was taken over by Telenor Connect in July 2004 and after careful market research, the board of directors of NIROS has come to the conclusion that the delay in the project has closed the window of opportunity for the Tetra products. NIROS will continue its production and development of analogue terminals, and will in the future focus more on total system solutions in a closer co-operation with its owner Telenor Connect.

Please note that the analogue production and product lines remain unaffected and this decision will allow NIROS to focus further on it's analogue portfolio.
